On December 11, 2024, in Ashgabat, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodiq Imomi participated in the High-Level International Conference on the theme “Joint Efforts to Strengthen International Peace and Sustainable Development”.

The event took place on the eve of the Day of Neutrality of Turkmenistan and was dedicated to the adoption of the UN General Assembly resolution declaring 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust.

In his speech, S.Imomi emphasized Tajikistan’s support for Turkmenistan’s peace-loving initiatives that contribute to strengthening a culture of peace, dialogue and sustainable development.
Special attention in the speech of the Deputy Minister was paid to the current state and progressive development of Tajik-Turkmen relations, which, thanks to the decision of the heads of state, have been raised to the level of deep strategic partnership.
